In 1983, Larry Peters started West-Com out of the house he was renting in Danville, California. The goal was to provide healthcare organizations with the tools and technology they needed to provide superior patient care. The idea was a success, and West-Com was soon moving out of the rental house and into a barn that was converted into an office. The company quickly outgrew the barn as well as its next location before settling in the corporate office where it is today in Fairfield, California. Today West-Com’s nurse call, clinic and senior care solutions are being used by caregivers around the world to streamline workflow, enhance communications and improve patient safety.

West-Com’s leadership team operates out of the Fairfield, California and Tempe, Arizona offices.
C. Larry Peters Founder and CEO
His extensive career in healthcare started in 1969 when he became a hospital specialist selling for Lederle Laboratories. Later he established the West Coast healthcare office of West Chemical and developed a sophisticated and successful marketing plan for the establishment of infection control programs in hospitals. In 1978 Mr. Peters became the sales manager for GTE Sylvania and initiated and developed the West-Coast territory for their health care communications division. After GTE sold the division to North American Phillips, Mr. Peters became the area manager of the Western division, responsible for sales and marketing in the fifteen western states, for both the Hospitals and Hotel/Motel divisions. In 1983, he founded West-Com Nurse Call Systems, Inc. Mr. Peters attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where he earned his BS degree in animal science, zoology and business.
Denise Peters General Manager
Denise has been with West-Com since 2003. She started out her career in public relations in New York City, and moved on to newspaper reporting, writing and then editing, both in New York and in California. Denise works with Larry Peters to oversee each division of the company.
Dania Atanassova-Een Vice President of Operations
Dania has been with West-Com since 2005. She began her career in finance in 1992 as an Accounting Manager at a manufacturing facility in Sacramento California. Later she made the transition in to the retail/wholesale industry as a Controller. In 2001 Dania relocated to South Carolina where she assumed the position of Controller for a multi-million dollar Tier II Automotive Supplier. With vast experience in manufacturing and retail, Dania works with West-Com as well as its Distributors to achieve and maintain its financial goals.
Paul Langstroth Vice President, Product Development
Paul started working for West-Com as a consultant in 1986. In the fall of 1994 Paul was offered the opportunity to join and head up the West-Com product development team. He has been a key member of the corporation ever since. As Vice President of Product Development, Paul is an Electronic Design Engineer, Software Engineer, PCB Designer, Technical Writer, System Administrator and Manager, all rolled into one. Paul is also a certified design engineer for Microchip Technology Inc. based in Tempe, Arizona. Microchip Technology Inc. is a leading provider of microcontroller and analog semiconductors. He is skilled in numerous software development languages, electronic design, and circuit board development. Paul’s professional experience encompasses all aspects of system design for West-Com products from initial concept to final production.
